Lexington, KY – July 27, 2023 – The Kentucky Horse Show is back in action with their two week long summer series at the famed Kentucky Horse Park in Lexington, KY. With the support of their sponsors, Kentucky Horse Show plays host to nearly 10,000 horses and 5,000 competitors every year across several different shows. The expansive venue offers the complete horse show experience to both competitors and spectators with competition in six different rings, and several shopping and dining options through their great vendors! The summer series will run from July 26th – August 6th, 2023.
Thursday saw great horse show competition across the board. The talented hunter riders duked it out in the Stonelea Ring to try and accumulate enough points to take home the Grand Hunter Champion award, presented by Hagyard Equine Medical Institute. Jumper competition came to a head in the first night class of the summer series for the $25,000 Kentucky Summer Classic in the famed Rolex Stadium.
